Our Process |
|
Each of our unique projects begins
with a phone consultation to discuss your personal vision and
discover the type of project that best suits your needs..
We then schedule a
meeting with you at your home or office so we can become
familiar with all of the elements of your personal story
including photographs, memorabilia, old films and anything else
you might want to include. You are given a brief
questionnaire depending on the type of project you are
interested in to help us get more familiar with your family and
your heritage. After filling out the questionnaire we can
then develop an individual set of questions to use in the
interview process.
If you have decided to be
videotaped we come to your home or office and do the
interviews with our digital videotaping equipment. Audio
interviews can be done in our office or your location which ever
is most comfortable to you.
After all of the recorded
interviews are completed transcripts are made and given to you
for review. If we are doing a video biography you will be
seeing an uncut version of the entire video interview and we
will discuss what you want to include in the completed
video. If you have decided on an audio biography or
printed book at this time you can make any changes or additions
to the transcript. We will then start the production phase
of the project. We will keep you apprised of our progress
and at regular intervals we will get approvals and input from
you.
We will give you a detailed process guide that will help you
understand the steps of your individual project and answer any
questions as they arise along the way. You will have
complete control of the finished product and we guarantee your
satisfaction.
You will make all of the
decisions on what material will be included in the completed
project and we will make all the interviews and transcripts
available at project completion.
At the end of the project
we will return all the materials used in the project on DVD
along with the finished project. All materials,
photographs and memorabilia used in the project will be
stored in a safe climate controlled environment using
archival quality materials while at our office and will be
returned to you in the same condition they were received.
We will be glad to answer any further questions about the way we
work, please contact us
here or give us a call at
770-712-6111. |
